Selena Gomez Will Star as Linda Ronstadt in New Biopic

It has been confirmed that Selena Gomez will play Linda Rondstadt in an upcoming biopic.

Rumors have been swirling since Gomez's Instagram story, where a copy of Ronstadt's memoir Simple Dreams was pictured.

The film is currently in pre-production, and Ronstadt's manager, John Boylan, will produce the film alongside James Keach, who produced the 2019 documentary Linda Rondstadt: The Sound of My Voice.

The Grammy Award-winning Linda Rondstadt has released 24 albums throughout her career and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. In 2019, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Selena Gomez has made a name for herself as both a musician and an actor. Both a Grammy and Emmy nominee, Gomez has had a vast career, most recently starring in Only Murders in the Building, which she both stars in and executive produces.
