Selena Gomez Shaved Part of Her Hair Into a Cute Undercut
Selena Gomez has an edgy new look. In a recently posted pic on Instagram, the 25-year-old star's hair doesn’t seem too out of the norm in a high, braided ponytail, but look a little closer, and you’ll see that the bottom is actually shaved into a cool undercut.
“Always need a subtle change. @puma Germany family time 😊 grateful for the welcome,” she captioned her post while on a trip to promote her latest shoe collaboration. The new look, styled by Marissa Marino and cut by Tim Dueñas, is subtle indeed, but still very striking. Shaved in a triangle shape, it adds drama to an otherwise ordinary updo.
It’s no secret that undercuts have been making waves all over social media as of late. There are limitless ways to style buzzed hair — we’ve seen undercuts in the form of lightning bolts, stars, flowers, and other surprising patterns on hair both long and short. Recently, the “Wolves” singer has been playing a lot with her hair, changing up her color and cuts. Over the past few months, she’s gone from brunette to blonde and back to brunette, rocking several lengths.
Just last Thursday at the We Day event in Los Angeles, Gomez was seen with a beachy, wavy bob hitting just above her shoulders. Safe to say her current style was likely achieved with extensions and of course, it looks amazing.
As much as we love keeping up with Gomez's hair game, we're hoping this undercut will stay for at least for a while.
