Like any other pair of best friends, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift probably talk about everything together: career aspirations, drama, even boys. Well, now we know they at least give each other fashion advice. Sel just revealed how her longtime friend has inspired her style over the years.

In a video with Vogue, Selena goes through 15 of her old looks, from 2007 to now. Unsurprisingly, some of them are pretty hilarious, like the leggings, calf-high white boots, and mini vest she wore to the ABC All Stars Party in 2007.

"Oh, it's bad. Just so bad. I don't know, I'm sure I thought it was so cool. It's so embarrassing," she said. "But, in my defense, it was very Paramore, Ashlee Simpson and I'm like not apologetic of that phase in my life. I just don't want to see it ever again."

Selena then moved on to the bedazzled corset dress she wore in the music video for "Love You Like a Love Song." She explained that she was 18 at the time and she got into a fight with her stepdad about the look.

"It was a lot of boobs. Ah, he’s just protective. It’s fun," she said. "I thought it was my time to cross over and become a pop star, whatever that was to me then. It just was really fun. I think it was the first time I tried to be high fashion, and you can laugh at that because that’s not high fashion."

She then explained how Taylor Swift influenced her at the time. "To be honest, when I was younger, Taylor inspired me a lot when it comes to wardrobe and stage outfits," she said. "But you wouldn’t be—no, you’re never going to see me wear that again, no."

Hmm it is a little bit of Lover meets Speak Now, no? I wonder if Taylor approves.
