Selena Gomez Reveals She's Dropping New Music Soon

It's been a while since Selena Gomez gave us an empowering anthem to play on repeat, but according to the singer and actress, one is coming soon.

This Monday night, at the premiere of Only Murders in the Building season 2, Gomez revealed that she's working on new music.

"I am actually working on it right now," she told Entertainment Tonight. "It's just been a little hectic with this, but um I am in the studio. I'm excited."

Her latest album, Revelación, dropped in March 2021. She was also featured in Coldplay's "Let Somebody Go."

But since then, Gomez has been starring in the Hulu thriller comedy Only Murders in the Building with industry greats Steve Martin and Martin Short. The actors play three neighbors who become unlikely friends while attempting to solve a murder that took place in the building through their murder mystery podcast.

The co-stars gathered in Los Angeles Monday evening to celebrate the next season, which will premiere June 28.

To the event, Gomez wore a dazzling silver Michael Kors dress and silver hoop earrings by Effy Jewelry. Her hair was pulled up into a voluminous ponytail and she wore a subtle smoky eye and a glossy nude lip.

After posing solo, she stood for silly photos with new besties Short and Martin.

Short told ET the three "have a great, happy, loose time on the set" and have grown quite close. "It makes us love each other more at the end of the day," he added.
