Selena Gomez Posed in a Cozy All-Brown Outfit to Accept Her Weibo Starlight Award
Selena Gomez has kept a relatively low profile for the past couple weeks, but yesterday, she shared a new look at her style now that she’s recently blonde. The singer posted a shot of herself on her Weibo account holding her Weibo Starlight Award. She dressed in a cozy but stylish brown monochrome ensemble.
Gomez won two Starlight Awards this year: the Starlight Hall of Fame and Favorite Collaboration (for “Ice Cream” with Blackpink) awards. Gomez filmed an acceptance speech for the Chinese ceremony, expressing her gratitude for the honors.
“These awards are an amazing reminder of our ability to connect in this digital age and of how incredible my fans are around the world,” she said. “My fans in China and on Weibo have been with me through many stages of my life and have given me so much love and support through the ups and the downs. I am so grateful for all of that. A big thank you to Blackpink and everyone involved in the ‘Ice Cream’ project, Weibo, and of course, my fans. I'm looking forward to when I can visit you in China. Bye, guys!”
Gomez recently wrapped filming on her upcoming Hulu series Only Murders in the Building. She shared the first trailer for the project last week on her Instagram. “Everybody is a suspect. 👀 Only Murders in the Building arrives 8/31!” she captioned the clip.
She dyed her hair blonde after she finished filming the series, marking her biggest hair change in years.
