There may be a new man in Selena Gomez's life.
According to E! News, the "Lose You to Love Me" singer and Rare Beauty founder is currently linked to Miami Heat basketball player Jimmy Butler. The pair were reportedly first spotted together grabbing dinner at Lucien in New York City and, according to the outlet, have gone on a few dates since.
"They hung out a few times while Selena was in New York City. Jimmy asked her to go to dinner and they had a great time," a source told the outlet. "It's very casual and she's open to seeing where things go, but isn't settling down just yet."
So Gomez isn't technically off the market. Reportedly "keeping her options open" when it comes to romance, the source also said that she "is currently single but has recently been more open to dating."
However, Gomez is reportedly intrigued by Butler and enjoying her time with the athlete, according to E! "[She] has been on a few dates with Jimmy and thinks he's a great guy," continued the source. "Her friends want to set her up all the time but she has loved being single."
Gomez's most notable relationship thus far was her longtime, on-and-off romance with fellow pop star Justin Bieber. In between breakups with Bieber, Gomez was also linked to another musician, The Weekend, back in 2017. Amid the pandemic, however, the singer-actress hasn't prioritized dating, per the outlet.
"Selena has been very careful with her health this year and has barely left her quarantine bubble," added the source. "She's been extremely busy working from home on her new beauty line and is very proud to have launched that during a pandemic. She's been enjoying cooking at home and only seeing a select few friends and family members regularly."
