Selena Gomez’s Natural Curls Are Flourishing in Her Recent Selfies
COVID-19-related salon closures have had celebrities flocking to social media to share how their hair is holding up. They're showing off DIY haircuts and dye jobs, executing gorgeous protective styles, or simply embracing the hair textures they were born with. Selena Gomez is the latest to do the latter by giving us a glimpse of her natural curls.
Since the pandemic began, we haven't seen much from the singer — we imagine that she is working hard on the launch of her brand, Rare Beauty. But on May 17, she uploaded a series of selfies to Instagram, giving fans a sneak peek at some of the products she's working on while also showing off her curly texture.
We don't know if it's the styling, but Gomez's dark brown-to-honey-blonde ombré is looking particularly fresh with these voluminous, loose spirals. She didn't give any details on how she did her hair (Maybe she enhanced with a few large-barrel curls? Perhaps she just washed it and this was the result?), but we've gotta say it looks good from every angle, whether it's tossed over to one side or all in her face. The black cat-eye and peachy lip she's wearing complement her hair well (she mentions in the caption that all the makeup is from Rare Beauty).
It's not easy to run a business in general, but to add a global pandemic to the equation only makes it harder. Clearly, Gomez is nailing it — and looking fabulous while doing so.
