While Selenators are still jamming to her new Marshmello collaboration "Wolves," Selena Gomez just casually dropped some information about her upcoming album... or two? Because Selena's been busy in the recording booth, as she shared in a new interview with Apple Music host Zane Lowe.

Since 2015's Revival, the singer has been busy dropping singles, visuals, and collaborations, but this hasn't stopped her from working on a more formal release. Selena shared:

"I want to get back in and re-focus on all of my music. To be honest, I feel like I have two albums already completed, but I'm wanting to figure it out. So it's a lot sooner than I think people anticipate. I want to call the shots, I want it to be good, I want to be ready, I don't want to do anything that's forced. It will be soon."

While she's had some time to herself, it's not as though Selena was just kicking back for the better part of a year. She recently revealed she'd been struggling with lupus to the point where she needed a kidney transplant, and has recently been on set for Woody Allen's new film. But just as her new record "Wolves" mirrors her own private-public struggles, she wanted her music to be "a lot more meaningful":

"I didn't want it to be crowded by over-glamorized things and the pop world can just be really distracting sometimes. This year, I did it at my own pace."

But speaking of the pop world, Lowe had to ask about Gomez's friend Taylor Swift's new songs and upcoming album Reputation:

"Would you expect any less? She's killin' it. It's everything you would want and more."
