Selena Gomez and Julia Michaels have made their BFF status official with some very meaningful matching tattoos. The singers unveiled their new ink on — where else? — Instagram earlier this week shortly after Gomez surprised Michaels during a Monday night concert where the two performed a duet of Michaels's single featuring Gomez, "Anxiety."
On Tuesday, Gomez shared the tattoo news on her Instagram Stories. She posted a set of different pictures, beginning with a photo of her and Michaels hugging and smiling. She captioned the photo with, "It's tatted... my arrow points to you forever." After that, she shared another group of photos that were taken at the same time as the first, this time revealing the photos are from her and Michaels getting inked.
Then, Gomez shared a picture of the new tattoo, an arrow, which definitely clears up any questions you might have had about that first caption. In the final photo from her Instagram, Gomez took a picture of her and Michaels holding hands and showing off how the arrows adorably do point at one another when their hands are together. How cute is that?
Both Gomez and Michaels have been logging some serious best-friend hours together in the last week alone, with their respective Instagrams serving up lots of sneak peeks at how they've been spending their time. Over the weekend, Michaels celebrated her 25th birthday and opted for a high school prom theme. While other celebs like Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, and Niall Horan were in attendance, the photos Gomez shared from Julia's party of the two of them are arguably the best. It's clear the love between them is very real and they have so much fun together. And, if you don't believe me, then check out a clip of them singing "Anxiety" from earlier in the week to see what I mean.
