Selena Gomez’s Hollywood Beauty Awards Dress Had a Huge Problem

With her makeup line not far away from launching, Selena Gomez headed out to the 2020 Hollywood Beauty Awards on February 6 to celebrate the industry’s yearly achievements and triumphs. Arriving at the HBA’s red carpet, Sel looked gorgeous (as usual) but her dress caused her a bit of a struggle later in the evening.

Selena walked the red carpet of the 2020 Hollywood Beauty Awards wearing a soft-pink dress with long puffy sleeves from Patou. She paired the look with some high heels from Aquazzura, keeping her accessories game minimal.

With her hair in a half updo, Selena chose a powerful red lip — which she's been the queen of for years now — and truly looked stunning as the night began.

Unfortunately, the dress was not as moveable as Selena might have hoped, as Just Jared Jr. noted. In a video reposted by a Selena stan account, the "Lose You to Love Me" singer is seen slouching down as far as possible in her chair trying to drink a glass of water.

"I can't move my arms!" Selena can be seen saying to the camera. "I can't f*cking move," she proclaims in another clip. The dress, though beautiful on the carpet, proved to be quite limiting once the night began!

Regardless of the, ehm, movement restrictions, Selena still managed to look iconic — and her slouching down to drink was just as graceful as we'd expect from the Rare artist. Hopefully, when she's being honored at the beauty awards one year for building a makeup empire, she'll wear something with a little more movement.
