Selena Gomez Goes Glam in a Sleek Dress & Polka Dot Pumps to Host Global Citizen’s Vax Live Concert

Selena Gomez went chic with ease as she hosted Global Citizen’s “Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World” on Sunday night.
The “Bad Liar” musician took the stage in classic style, debuting her blonde hairdo with a classic two-tone black and white ensemble. The outfit featured a long-sleeve maxi dress complete with a form-fitting design and contrasting white diamonds, all courtesy of Glemaud’s resort ’20 collection.

On her feet, the pop star continued her color-schemed moment in polka dot pumps. The sleek pointed-toe style included a lifted heel and a dramatic ankle-wrap finish; favored by Kim Kardashian, Lizzo, Cardi B and more, these types of heels snake across the ankle and calf for a standout punch and a supported fit.
Though the show doesn’t officially premiere until May 8, performances took place last night in Inglewood, Calif. The event “celebrates hope as families and communities reunite after receiving the vaccine, and calls on world leaders to step up for equitable distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine,” according to Global Citizen’s website.
Global Citizen’s “Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World” airs on May 8 at 8 p.m. ET on select channels including ABC, CBS and Fox; the show will also air on YouTube with a free livestream. In addition to Jennifer Lopez, you can expect performances from H.E.R., the Foo Fights, J Balvin and Eddie Vedder. The president, first lady and vice president are all expected to make appearances throughout the event as well.
