Selena Gomez Debuts a New Contender for Vacation Shoe of the Summer
The ever-popular white Birkenstock may count Dakota Johnson and Gwyneth Paltrow as fans, but a fresh alternative—the white summer loafer—has found its legs on Selena Gomez. The singer was spotted on vacation in Capri, Italy in a floral wrap dress—also recently spotted on Johnson and model Gigi Hadid—which she cleverly offset with her patent Tod’s shoes.
Gomez has often relied on retro-inspired Puma trainers for her off-duty ensembles, but today’s look was infused with a touch of old Hollywood polish: it almost evoked Katharine Hepburn, who often put her stamp on menswear staples. Delicate, personal jewelry and oversize hoops finished the look with subtle shimmer, while a notebook and camera were Gomez’s other essential accessories.
