Selena Gomez Covers “Elle”’s October Issue

Selena Gomez is celebrating the unofficial kick off of fall with another magazine cover to add to her growing collection. For the shoot on the cover of Elle Magazine’s September issue, Selena has chosen to forgo one of the most integral pieces in any season’s wardrobe for this particular shoot, wearing no shirt underneath her bright blue suede jacket and mini shorts. Selena’s look is, of course, Coach, as she’s not only the face of the brand, but has just released her second capsule collection with Creative Director Stuart Vevers.

Selena has been somewhat absent from the tabloids—and largely from social media—since her breakup from ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber just a few months ago. During Selena’s interview with the publication, she discusses her move out of L.A. to try to extricate herself from what had become a toxic environment for the singer. She tells them, “It’s been such a release. L.A.’s just gotten really claustrophobic for me. I can’t do any of the things I do here in L.A. It’s just impossible,” adding, “From 20 to 26? Oh my gosh. I feel like a totally different person.”

While you can read the whole cover story [here]https://www.elle.com/culture/celebrities/a22875404/selena-gomez-new-album-interview/), you’d also be able to tell from the gorgeous images that grace the pages that Selena is more at ease than ever before. Wearing a head-turning red gown from Versace, feather-covered Oscar de la Renta with a giant waist belt, sequin Coach gown and more, she stands among pure greenery, giving off that breath of fresh air it seems she’s finally been allowed to take in her own life.
