Selena Gomez channels her inner Blair Waldorf with this preppy half-up hairstyle

Selena Gomez is one of those stars that can go from glamazon to cool girl grunge to preppy princess, all in a week, and yet each seems authentic. Maybe it's just because she hasn't boxed herself in and clearly loves experimenting? All we know is, we're here for the versatility.
Visiting Paris with Rare Beauty, she's done exactly what we would do and totally leant into that Parisian chic, with an extra preppy dose that keeps a subtle American touch. An American in Paris, if you will. Our favourite of these Dior and Chanel filled looks has to be the preppiest of half-up hairsyles by stylist Daya Ruci.
Pulling the top layer up into a neat half-up ponytail, Selena's hair is adorned with the most adorable black bejewelled Chanel bow, sitting a-top the elevated school girl style. It's giving Blair Waldorf which is always a win.
Despite the half-up, the lower layers look so thick, luscious and glossy in their soft curls, we just want to reach through the screen and touch them (with permission of course).
One of our fave's Hung Vanngo, was the genius behind the makeup for the look. His client list would make you feel feint, and he delivered an edge on the preppy look with an exaggerated dark liner on the otherwise pretty peachy glam. Thanks to Hung, we also know that lip she's so chicly applying is a combo of Rare Beauty lip liner in 'Wise' (currently sold out) and their lipstick in 'Creative'.
Worn with a silky white blouse and what looks to be black pleated skirt, this is what I thought I looked like in school in my Gossip Girl era (I didn't go in without a bow for at least two years), but photos can confirm otherwise.
