Fans of Selena Gomez and Blackpink Are Freaking Out Over Their New Collab, ‘Ice Cream’
Selena Gomez and K-pop group Blackpink appear to have an instant hit on their hands with their new collaboration, “Ice Cream”—a fitting title for the steamy days of August.
“This is a big, big dream for me,” Gomez said in a video posted to Blackpink’s Instagram, after they all shared how they’re already superfans of each other.
Gomez even released her very own ice cream flavor with Serendipity to celebrate the new single. It’s called Cookies & Cream Remix and is made with pink vanilla ice cream, crunchy cookie bites, and fudge. “For the Cookies & Cream remix, I wanted to put my own personal spin on this classic flavor by making it with pink vanilla ice cream as a nod to my girls BLACKPINK and celebrate our new song ‘Ice Cream,’” Gomez said in a press release.
The late-summer bop also dropped with a candy-colored music video that will make you want to run down to your local ice cream truck, even if it’s not driven by a nautically dressed Selena Gomez. And in a show of how powerful the combo of all these superstars is, the video already has over 35 million views.
Both Gomez and Blackpink have insanely loyal fanbases and social media followings—and everyone is freaking out over “Ice Cream.”
