Selena Gomez Hit Up Coach's Fall 2018 Fashion Show With New Bangs

If you're going to publicly debut a new style, no matter how slight, what better place to do it than at New York Fashion Week? Selena Gomez, it seems, is well aware of this. Just a few months after going back to brunette following her brief foray with a platinum blond lob, Selena's got a brand-new pair of bangs—which she showed up to Coach's fall 2018 show with on Tuesday.

Given that Selena's an ambassador for the brand, she's become a front row staple for the show. Last season she her makeup was so good, it rivaled the runway. This season, it was all about her hair, which featured long, waist-length extensions along with a set of piece-y curtain bangs swept to the center. Her outfit, meanwhile, was the perfect example of Coach's blend of girly and gritty styles. She wore a dreamy black-and-lavender maxi dress with a watercolor design and floral details, topped with a classic black leather jacket with red detailing around the zippers on the sides and sleeves.

According to Vogue, Selena was first seen sporting the mini-makeover late last week. On Wednesday, Gomez visited an IHOP restaurant in Los Angeles (and, curiously, left with one of their logo-emblazoned coffee mugs in hand), where she was spotted by paparazzi with '70s-style, piece-y bangs. The length really is what keeps them so modern—and versatile. They reach down to her chin on either side and just barely cover her eyebrows at their shortest point, meaning she can wear them both parted and swept over her forehead, like above.

If baby bangs aren't your thing, chances are very (very) good that these will be. Both Selena and Pinterest say so at least.
