From the moment guests received the seascape-inspired invitation from Carbon38’s Katie Warner Johnson and Vogue’s Selby Drummond, last night’s dinner party at Duryea’s was one of the season’s most anticipated summer soirees. The occasion was to celebrate the latest pieces from the activewear giant, and several guests, including Drummond, wrapped up in the label’s eyelet kimono (a gift on every seat) to combat the evening chill. However, before the sunset, seaside cocktails were enjoyed as guests including Glamour editor in chief Samantha Barry, Huma Abedin, and Dianna Agron arrived via speedboat, cocktails in hand.

Once ashore, the casual but polished vibes continued. The tables, punctuated with fresh summer arrangements in festive hues of fuchsia, lilac, and marigold, were illuminated by elegant tapered candles while the delectable bites—lobster rolls, clams, and catches of the day—transported guests to the shores of New England. After dinner, others including Carolyn Murphy, Tanya Taylor, and Tracy Dubb chatted late into the night under a picturesque canvas composed of stars.
