At the inaugural People's Choice Country Awards, all eyes were on Wynonna Judd, and fans have not recovered from the memorable appearance.

The Brothers Osborne introduced Wynonna before presenting her with the Country Champion Award, saying, "her spirit, her soul, and her strength are an inspiration, the definition of a shero." She then took the stage to perform her hits "I Saw the Light" and "No One Else on Earth."

Wynonna then accepted the award with an emotional speech. She talked about her early career and her mother's death and said, "Regardless of what has happened to me and who, I show up and I show out... It's getting harder and harder out there. Never give up on your dreams. For half of you in this place tonight, I know you don't know who I am or you were not born when I had my years of being fabulous, and I'll let that go. But back in 1990 blah blah blah, Tim McGraw opened for me. Four weeks ago, I opened for Tim. The highs are high and the lows are low baby, but don't ever let them tell you who you are. Good night."

The award show shared a video from her speech on Instagram with the caption, "Comedian, motivational speaker, and Country Champion: @wynonnajudd 🌟" Fans reacted with comments like:

  • "icon behavior ❤️🙌"

  • "She made me laugh, cry and cheer! What a bada*s!!"

  • "And this is why you are the Queen"

  • "Fabulous then and more fabulous now!🔥🔥🔥"

  • "That speech was fire 🔥 last night."
