See Why 'The Voice' Star Kelly Clarkson Got in Blake Shelton’s Face During Heated Moment

We're just one week into The Voice season 23, and Kelly Clarkson is already confronting Blake Shelton about his behavior.

During her blind audition, country singer Holly Brand walked out onstage in hopes to earn herself a spot in the NBC singing competition. As she sang a rendition of Faith Hill's "Mississippi Girl," her vocals impressed Kelly, Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper enough for them to turn their chairs. As the trio attempted to convince her why she should choose their respective teams, Kelly decided to call out the one coach who didn't turn his chair during her performance.

"What is wrong with you?" she told Blake while walking up to his seat to check his hearing. "Is this thing on?"

But that wasn't the last of Kelly and Blake's hilarious rapport. When the American Idol alum gave Holly her feedback on the audition, it didn't take long for Blake to try to insert himself into the conversation. And just like years past, she came back at him for a good reason.

"Well, since Blake's deaf, you can win with me," she told Holly while Blake raised his hand to speak. "Why are you talking? You didn't even turn!"

When fans saw the duo pick up right where Kelly left off at the end of The Voice season 21, they immediately took to the comments section on YouTube to discuss the encounter.

"[Damn] I missed Kelly so much she [has] the best reactions," one person wrote. "When Kelly went up to Blake and asked 'What is wrong with you and is this thing on?' It cracked me up," another laughed. "Kelly’s gonna win Blake’s last season with this girl because Blake was unusually deaf at this very moment," a different user noted.

As for who became Holly's coach, it didn't shock the audience when she chose Kelly. But before leaving the stage, The Voice competitor revealed that she opened for one of Blake's concerts back when she was 10 years old. Holly shared that that performance made her want to be a musician.

Guess we'll have to tune in next week to see if Blake regrets not turning his chair around in time ...
