Christina Ricci fans are thrilled about her return to The Addams Family in the new Netflix show Wednesday — but that's not why they can't stop talking about her.

On November 7, the 42-year-old actress had social media a flutter when she showed up to the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in a floral and lace peek-a-boo dress. Featuring a green and purple floral print, the sleeveless gown had a black lace plunging neckline that tied in the front. The ensemble was even bolder, thanks to large floral adornments on the shoulders. She finished off the look with a black clutch, a sultry smoky eye, nude lip and messy chignon.

After the red carpet Hollywood event, Christina shared a series of photos in the outfit, one of which was with her husband, celebrity hairstylist Mark Hampton.

Unsurprisingly, the Casper alum's look sparked strong reactions amongst fans, who immediately began sending her fire emojis in her comment section.

"Quirky, beautiful dress, just like the woman who’s wearing it," one person wrote on Instagram. "So stunning! 🔥," another added. "Can this be one of your very best looks ever? I REALLY THINK SO ❤️," a different fan said.

Christina's colorful ensemble is only one of her red carpets looks in honor of the new Tim Burton spinoff, Wednesday. The show follows gothic teen Wednesday Addams (Jenny Ortega) the eldest and only daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams (Luis Guzmán and Catherine Zeta-Jones). The eight-episode series takes viewers for a ride when Wednesday attends Nevermore Academy, where she must work to stop a killing spree and solve a family mystery.

As folks know, the actress took the role of gruesome and gloomy child Wednesday Addams when she was only 10 years old. Now, Christina is coming back to the small screen as as Marilyn Thornhill, a Nevermore alum. She joins a cast of other familiar faces like Gwendoline Christie, Fred Armisen and Thora Birch.
