The 515 Congress Parking structure downtown is now home to a large squiggly mural from British artist Mr Doodle.

Mr Doodle, whose real name is Samuel Cox, painted the piece from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. during SXSW, as his film "The Trouble with Mr Doodle" premiered at the festival. The title of the film even made it into the mural at the top right corner.

The urban artist used a lift to paint the parking garage that sits at the corner of Congress Avenue and East 6th Street. The freestyle piece serves as the first Mr Doodle mural in Texas.

KBS and the Downtown Austin Alliance Foundation sponsored the mural with the help of Art + Artisans.

“I'm so excited to bring the Doodles to Texas for the very first time," Mr Doodle said on the Downtown Austin Alliance Foundation's website. "This wall is an amazing canvas, and I really hope the people of Austin will like the finished mural."
