How does the fashion industry heat things up when the weather outside is frightful? It releases cheery spring ad campaigns featuring models dressed in light, breezy, often pastel layers posing in the desert or some other sun-drenched locale. It won't be months until we can actually wear any of the pieces (without some heavy outerwear, at least) or even start thinking about all the ways we can bare our legs next season, but that's not stopping luxury brands from getting us to think about and lust after their warm-weather wares for the new year.
