The first full-length trailer of Aladdin brings a whole new world of magic.
Disney is ensuring fans remain in touch with their childhood selves by bringing its beloved characters back to the big screen for live-action remakes. Since Aladdin premiered in May, it's grossed over $900 million globally, according to Box Office Mojo. Dumbo premiered in March and brought in over $350 million in box office sales. The next live action slated for release is The Lion King starring starring Beyoncé as Nala, Donald Glover as Simba, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, and James Earl Jones, is reprising his role as Mufasa from the 1994 original. Other live actions already in the works are The Little Mermaid starring Halle Bailey and Lady and the Tramp with Tessa Thompson and Justin Theroux. We're still crossing our fingers for a few that haven't been announced yet. (Wouldn't you love to see a fresh spin on The Princess And The Frog?) In the meantime, this list of live-action reboots and new trailers should tide you over.
