You *have* to see Rita Ora with bright Ariel-red hair

Rita Ora has been teasing her new song with artist Gryffin, Last of Us, for a while now but it's finally dropping along with the video for the dance track, in which the singer is sporting a hair colour. It took us by surprise, to say the least. Her trademark honey-blonde hair has been replaced with a bright Ariel-red straight out of Disney's The Little Mermaid animated classic.
She's giving us whiplash having just got a chic 'Italian bob' haircut, but for the new video, she's gone in the opposite direction with long locks of an acidic red. The alien-esque colour goes with the futuristic, metallic aesthetic of the video and with the changing lighting turns from hot pink to scorching red like magic.
When Rita was blowing up as the ultimate London 'it girl' in the late 00s and early 10s, people loved to position her as the 'UK Rihanna', and while she's firmly cemented herself as in fact the UK's... Rita Ora, this Rihanna-red hair is making us so nostalgic for that time.
We actually missed Rita's first teasing of this hair, posted a few days ago, but only because it was well disguised. Posting a photo with her collaborator on the single Gryffin, the picture is filtered to make the hair look fully purple.
Honestly, this hair colour is shape-shifting. Maybe it's less The Little Mermaid and more Sleeping Beauty? "Make it blue! Make it pink! Make it blue!".
