Just under a month ago, at a private residence in Montecito, Meghan Markle was in conversation at Netflix event for The After with David Oyelowo and Misan Harriman.

Photos have just been shared from the event, which show the Duchess of Sussex sitting in front of a screen with Oyelowo and Harriman, appearing to be the one interviewing them. The After is Harriman's debut short film, which follows Dayo (Oyelowo), a Londoner "who has to reconnect with himself and society after witnessing a devastating random attack in the capital."

For the occasion, Meghan kept it simple in her go-to neutrals, wearing a turtleneck and what appears to be a chocolate pantsuit that appears to be from Ralph Lauren's 2019 pre-fall collection.

Harriman has photographed many of Meghan and Prince Harry's important moments, including a portrait announcing Meghan was pregnant with their second child. "When you see people who have the connection that they have, it’s like reading the pages of a book," Harriman said about photographing the Sussexes. "Meg reminded me that had I not introduced her to a mutual friend then she wouldn’t have met Harry. I’m grateful for whatever small part I played." He also attended Princess Lilibet's first birthday party, and snapped a portrait of her that was shared with the world.

Earlier this year, Meghan introduced her "dear friend" Harriman before his TED Talk, saying, "Our next speaker has an unmatched eye for a good photograph. I've experienced his talent firsthand as he's captured many meaningful milestones for me and my family, and I know there are many others who share in this experience."

Meghan is not just close friends with Harriman, but also her and Prince Harry's Archewell Productions currently has a partnership with Netflix. At an event last month, the Duchess shared they "have so many exciting things on the slate. I can’t wait until we can announce them, but I’m just really proud of what we’re creating. My husband is loving it, too. It’s really fun."
