In honor of Presidents Day, Parade is bringing you an exclusive first look at Apple TV+’s upcoming, seven-part true crime limited series Manhunt, starring Emmy Award-winning actor Tobias Menzies. (You may remember his role as Black Jack Randall on three seasons of Outlander.)

Why Presidents Day? The series is based on The New York Times bestselling non-fiction book Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln's Killer from author James L. Swanson, a conspiracy thriller about one of the best known but least understood crimes in history, the astonishing story of the hunt for John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination.

The other reason to post this on Presidents Day is it falls exactly one week after Abraham Lincoln’s 215th birthday.

The true crime drama also stars Anthony Boyle, Lovie Simone, Will Harrison, Brandon Flynn, Patton Oswalt, Matt Walsh, and Hamish Linklater.

The global premiere of Manhunt is March 15 on Apple TV+.
