See Nicole Kidman in First Trailer for New Prime Video Series Expats From Lulu Wang
BAFTA-nominated Lulu Wang has her first television series on the way, and Prime Video has dropped the first trailer ahead of its January release.
Based on the bestselling novel by Janice Y. K. Lee, Expats follows a multifaceted group of women after a single encounter sets off a chain of life-altering events that leaves everyone navigating the intricate balance between blame and accountability.
Nicole Kidman, Sarayu Blue, Ji-young Yoo, Brian Tee, Tiana Gowen, Bodhi del Rosario, Amelyn Pardenilla and Jack Huston star in this series set against the complex tapestry of Hong Kong residents.

The six-part limited series will premiere with two episodes on January 26, 2024, and new episodes will launch weekly until the finale on February 23, 2024.
Lulu Wang serves as creator, director, writer and executive producer. Other executive producers include Nicole Kidman, Daniele Melia for Local Time, Per Saari for Blossom Films, Alice Bell, Theresa Park for Per Capita Productions and Stan Wlodkowski.
Alice Bell also receives writing credit alongside Wang, Vera Miao, Gursimran Sandhu and author Janice Y. K. Lee.
