The film also stars Stanley Tucci, who assumes the role of Clive Davis–the legendary record producer who first discovered Houston while she was performing at a nightclub in New York City.
Other actors who are set to star in the film include Moses Ingram, Ashton Sanders, Clarke Peters, Tamara Tunie, and Nafessa Williams.
The biopic was written by Bohemian Rhapsody's Anthony McCarten, directed by Kasi Lemmons and produced by Houston's former record producer, Davis; along with Matt Jackson, Molly Smith, Trent Luckinbill, Thad Luckinbill, Matthew Salloway, and a few others, as per IMDB.
