Today is Meghan Markle's first Mother's Day, and she is already celebrating with her son, Archie, who is six days old today. This morning, the Sussex Royal account posted a photo of the new mom holding her son's small newborn feet in her hands.

The caption keeps things pretty general and sends best wishes to all mothers today: "Paying tribute to all mothers today - past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered. We honor and celebrate each and every one of you.
Today is Mother’s Day in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Japan, and several countries across Europe."

The caption also includes an excerpt from the poem "Lands" by poet Nayyirah Waheed: "my mother was my first country; the first place i ever lived."

Per Entertainment Tonight, Meghan Markle is spending a very low-key Mother's Day with her family at home in Windsor. Her own mother, Doria Ragland, is staying with the royal couple to help with Archie in his first days.

When Meghan and Harry introduced Archie to the public last week, Meghan said she was already impressed with her son's behavior.

"It's magic. It's pretty amazing," Meghan said. "I have the two best guys in the world, so I'm really happy. He has the sweetest temperament."

Archie is already a boy with many good women in his life. He also got to meet his great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

"It was such a lovely moment with Her Majesty. Everyone was so touched," a source close to the couple told ELLE.com after the meeting. “It’s been such a magical time, and Meghan and Harry are so incredibly happy.”
