No one does cool girl style better than Lila Moss. Don't believe us? Take a quick scroll through the model's Instagram feed. Among the brand campaigns and runway footage you'll see red carpet shots from prestigious events like the Met Gala and British Fashion Awards alongside off-duty holiday snaps and nights out with friends – just like any other 20-year-old's social media.
Except for the fact most 20-year-olds don't have access to an endless supply of stunning designer 'fits, not to mention Kate Moss's wardrobe full of vintage gems. Ah, the perks of having a supermodel for a mum.
And just like her mother, Lila is forging a successful fashion career having scored her first British Vogue cover last April and modelled for the likes of Versace, Chloé and Fendi to name just a few.
For Lila's latest power play, she has teamed up with one of our favourite French brands, Maje, as the face of the exclusive autumn collection that's available to shop now.
Specialising in that effortless French girl aesthetic every fashion fanatic longs to recreate, Maje sits comfortably between high street and high end, offering premium, quality pieces at prices that won't break the bank. Founded by Judith Milgrom (the younger sister of Evelyne Chétrite, Creative Director of Sandro – talk about good genes) in Paris in 1998, Maje collections are always trend-led, full of timeless silhouettes and luxe fabrications. A city take on a bohemian vibe tends to run throughout many of the pieces, offset with quirky details and high fashion inspirations.
The brand's decision to appoint London-born Lila as its new ambassador is *very* intentional. After all, who better to bring a touch of British cool girl style to a classic French brand?
Bursting with Y2K references – we're talking denim corsets, sparkly bra tops, bejewelled jorts, low-slung chain belts and choker necklaces – the collection is full of young, fun pieces to wear now and style up in different ways as the mercury drops.
The much-loved bohemian feel remains, with '70s-inspired kick-flare jeans, shaggy fur-trimmed coats and tassell adorned shoulder bags.
Plus, the collection has Christmas party dressing (too soon?) sorted thanks to *plenty* of sequins. Top of our wishlist is the silver sparkly mini dress. We'll be following Lila's lead and styling ours with cowboy boots.
