See Inside Tom Cruise's Colorado Mountain Ranch, Which Just Sold for $39.5 Million
According to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, Tom Cruise's Colorado vacation home—where he enjoyed his free time with his children and ex-wife Katie Holmes—hit the market for $39.5 million in March 2021. Just two months later, and the home has sold for the asking price. The 320-acre ranch, located in Telluride, CO—an area known for world-class alpine skiing (and its fair share of celebrity residents)—is an ultra-private rustic dream surrounded by miles of natural beauty. Fans of Cruise may be acquainted with the retreat, as it was the location of a follow-up interview with Oprah Winfrey (that came shortly after his dramatic 2005 appearance on her show), but the property itself has much more to offer than what was revealed during their sit-down.
Protected by a gated entrance, once through you’ll ascend up a mile-long driveway, which leads to the 10,000-square-foot cedar-and-stone main house and three-bedroom guest lodge. Sweeping mountain views surround the property, which has easy access to forested trails and is near the historic downtown area. The home was sold by Eric Lavey and Dan Dockray of LIV Sotheby's International Realty. “If you spend any amount of time in this unique estate, you recognize that it is truly a once-a-generation type of offering—which makes it a bit impossible to let that opportunity pass you by,” says Lavey, the the lead agent on the listing.
