Pete Davidson and Edie Falco may not be good housekeepers, but they're definitely the best bad housekeepers we've ever encountered.

In March, the Good Housekeeping team invited Pete and Edie to our New York City office and put their culinary and cleaning skills to the test for a cover shoot to celebrate their audacious (and decidedly adult!) new show Bupkis, streaming May 4 on Peacock. As you can see below, things got pretty messy ... that is, in the best way possible.

Knowing that the new series — a fictionalized account of Pete Davidson's real life, also starring Joe Pesci — features Pete playing himself and Edie portraying his mom, we thought it would be fun to bring their adorable mother-son dynamic to set for our limited-edition Mother's Day issues, which we created with Peacock. Needless to say, Pete and Edie most certainly delivered. Just look at the video below, and you'll see what we mean.

From chaos in the kitchen to taking a break from "housework" to rock 'em and sock 'em and chow down on fudge-y brownies, Edie and Pete were game for pretty much everything we threw at them — and the results speak for themselves.

To make things even sweeter, the Bupkis co-stars and Pete's real-life mom, Amy Davidson, sat down to talk about the importance of honoring moms and their special Mother's Day traditions. Among the many fun details, we learned about a particularly memorable Mother's Day when Pete made his mom a homemade croquembouche ... of sorts. It's a good story, but you'll have to head over to Pete's guest editor letter to get that hilarious scoop.
