Ke Huy Quan showed up to support his former costar, Harrison Ford, with a sweet surprise.

The newly-minted Oscar winner, 51, surprised his former Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom costar, 80, on the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny yesterday, June 14, essentially photobombing him while he gave an interview.

Disney uploaded a clip of the touching moment on TikTok, writing, "THE REUNION EVERYONE IS WAITING FOR <3," on a title card over the post, which showed Quan creeping up the red carpet before springing into action behind Ford, throwing up peace signs as one of the cameramen turned to focus on him instead.

Eventually, he steps closer and puts his hand on Ford's back, who broke into a wide smile when he turned to find Quan standing next to him.

After a hug, Ford leans back to take him in, noting, “You’re all grown up!”

“How proud are you of this guy?” the interviewer asks, leading them to hug again, though Ford's response was cut off when the video ended.

The two first reconnected last year at the D23 Expo, after 38 years apart.

Quan was nervous to approach Ford since he was just a kid the last time they saw each other. “When I walked out, he was 10 feet away. My heart was pounding. I was so nervous,” he told W magazine after the fact. “And the entire time I’m thinking, ‘Is he going to recognize me?’ because the last time he saw me, I was a little kid.”

But Ford recognized him immediately. "Instead he looks at me, he says, ‘Are you Short Round?’ And I was immediately transported back to 1984, when I was a little kid, when I looked up to him. And I said, ‘Yes, Indy.’ And he says, ‘Come here.’ Pulled me close to him and gave me the biggest hug.”

The sweet surprise follows another viral reunion at the Oscars earlier this year, where Ford presented the cast and directors of Everything Everywhere All At Once with Best Picture, leading Quan to jump up and down in excitement before hugging Ford and kissing him on the cheek as he was handed his award.
