Gwen Stefani crashed husband Blake Shelton's set at Long Beach's Coastal Country Jam to perform a classic.

In the recap of the festival, Press-Telegram reports that the country crooner began playing Lynard Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama" on guitar, but that proved to be a fakeout, switching to strumming the chords of No Doubt's hit "Don't Speak."

That's when his wife Stefani made a surprise guest appearance. "You know I had to bring out the queen, Gwen Stefani, for this night," said Shelton, before letting her take over.

In a YouTube video uploaded by Taste of Country, the 47-year-old and his band were recorded backing the pop singer, as she belted out the breakup ballad for the ecstatic crowd. She led the crowd to a sing-along to the chorus.

Shelton looked thrilled to share the stage with his spouse, smiling wide throughout the performance. When she finished the song, he bowed down and joked to the audience, "In case you don't know, this is Gwen Stefani, everybody." He then launched into a duet of their track "Nobody But You," written about their relationship. The happy couple also joined forces to sing "Happy Anywhere."

Before stepping away from the stage, the twosome shared a kiss, showing how loving their dynamic is.

The festival wasn't far from their home, as the pair has a residence in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. Stefani's impromptu appearance was also a great treat for fans who were expecting her to show up at Shelton's hometown show at the Honda Center on Sept. 9.
