See Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood's Surprise Grand Ole Opry Performance

Some Nashville concertgoers were extra lucky this past St. Patrick's Day weekend.

Country music fans seated at the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday night were treated to an extra special surprise concert from none other than Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood.

While the Nashville concert venue drew fans in on St. Patrick's Day weekend with scheduled performances by Lauren Alaina, Morgan Evans, Steve Earle, Jameson Rodgers, Jeannie Seely, those in the crowd had no idea the couple of country crooners would later take the stage.

Before Brooks, 61, and Yearwood, 58, closed out the concert, they were met with a wild round of applause and roars from fans who couldn't have been more excited to see the two artists take the stage.

With his acoustic guitar in hand and cowboy hat on, Brooks serenaded the audience with a live performance of his early '90s hit, "Callin' Baton Rouge."

Another concertgoer caught the moment Yearwood joined her husband on stage, before the two wowed the crowd with their cover of Lady Gaga's "Shallow," from the soundtrack of the hit 2018 film A Star is Born, also featuring Bradley Cooper.

This isn't the first time Brooks and Yearwood shared their take on the pop star's tune, as the couple previously recorded a studio version of the duet for Brooks' 2020 album, Fun, nor was it their first time at the famed venue.

The couple–who will celebrate 18 years of marriage this year–have both been members of the Grand Ole Opry for sometime now. Not even two years after Brooks' first performance at the Opry, in 1990, the singer was invited to become a part of one of country music's most exclusive clubs. Nine years later, Yearwood was inducted.
