There it is! The first photos from Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s wedding ceremony were revealed Tuesday, December 4.

The images were taken by renowned wedding photographer Jose Villa moments after the couple made it official during their Christian ceremony on December 1. Days after the couple’s whirlwind, five-day wedding week, the public finally got their first look Tuesday at Chopra’s custom Ralph Lauren gown.

The breathtaking column piece featured sheer lace sleeves and button detailing down the front, and it also included a trendy high neck and an elaborate veil. People magazine exclusively unveiled the first photos, including its new weekly cover, which features a sweet portrait of Jonas and Chopra.

The Christian ceremony, which took place outdoors at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, a Taj property in Jodhpur, India, was officiated by the father of the groom.

The image reveals more than just Chopra’s wedding dress, something that was speculated for weeks leading up to the day. It also shows the unexpected pair sharing a rather tender moment with Jonas leaning down to give his new wife an affectionate kiss on the hand.

Like Chopra, Jonas also wore a piece by Ralph Lauren, who played a pivotal role in the couple’s love story.

The newlyweds first met at the 2017 Met Gala after both receiving invites to the coveted fashion event by the brand that year. While the two didn’t start dating until the following year—when they met at the Met again—it was at the Ralph Lauren 50th celebration that they chose to debut her engagement ring publicly on the red carpet for the first time.

The couple also debuted a photo from their second wedding, a Hindu ceremony, held the following day. “And forever starts now,” Chopra captioned the pic Tuesday.

The illustrious American designer has only designed a few custom gowns throughout his career, including one for his daughter, another piece for daughter-in-law Lauren Bush Lauren, and finally, one for his niece.

It was reported that Lauren had approached Chopra with a set of sketches wanting to design her look for the once-in-a-lifetime occasion. She said yes.
