See Duckie Thot's Jaw-Dropping 2023 SI Swimsuit Photo

After a successful first appearance in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit last year, South Sudanese-Australian model Duckie Thot is back again with beautiful new photos in the 2023 SI Swimsuit issue.

The 27-year-old stunned in a sporty-style blue patterned one-piece, with a buckled belt, cutouts on the side, and a zipper at the front.

She first appeared on the modeling scene in 2013, when she finished in third during the eighth season of Australia's Next Top Model.

Only four years later, Thot made her international runway debut at the Yeezy S/S 2017 Ready-to-Wear collection show. Since then, her career has only grown, as Thot adds L’Oréal Paris ambassador and Fenty Beauty model to her resume, among many other major accomplishments.

Thot is often credited with being a force of positive change in the fashion industry.

Speaking of her influence, she said, "I just hope that when people see me that they can see themselves reflected as well and know that nothing in this world is off limits to them.”

Aside from her modeling work, Thot strongly values her family and culture, saying in an interview with The Glass Magazine, "Coming to Australia from South Sudan created a sense of diaspora for my parents so they were always very diligent about incorporating our culture into our everyday lives as much as possible.

"Whether that be speaking to each other in our mother language, eating traditional foods, attending a South Sudanese church, and consuming entertainment directly related to our culture," she added.

When SI Swimsuit first announced Thot as a 2022 rookie, editor in chief MJ Day shared how excited the publication was to welcome her.

She noted, "[Thot's] strong personality and beauty mixed with her inspirational story blended together seamlessly for some of our most powerful photos yet."

In 2023, Thot joins other returning models like Yumi Nu and Georgina Burke, as well as rookies like Jennifer Atilémile and Lauren Chan, in the SI Swimsuit issue.
