You Need to See Dua Lipa Wearing Naked Wedding Dress

It seems like love is really in the air. This summer we've seen some absolutely mega weddings: Kourtney Kardashian's many celebrations, culminating in a lavish Italian ceremony, Britney Spears' heartwarming nuptials with Sam Asghari, Bennifer's long overdue reconciliation and Rita Ora and Taika Waititi's low-key ceremony. Gets you in your feelings, huh?

Well, the wedding season doesn't seem to be over yet...at least when it comes to fashion. Just the other week, Lizzo stunned fans when she rocked a full-length white wedding dress to run into the ocean and now Dua Lipa is the next celeb to jump aboard the wedding chic trend.

While heading to the wedding of designer Simon Porte Jacquemus and his partner Marco Maestri yesterday (27 August) in Charleval, France, Dua Lipa debuted an outfit that could well have made it look like it was her special day. The iconic 'fit comes hot on the heels of string of out-of-this-world looks as Dua celebrated her 27th birthday in style and took some much-needed time off from a busy international touring schedule: there have been micro bra tops and even a paperclip dress that reminds us of Liz Hurley's iconique Versace revenge dress.

Given that Simon Porte Jacquemus is the founder of the it-label Jacquemus, beloved by fashion girls and influencers alike, it seems only right that Dua wore a piece designed by him for the big event. And the garment in question? Well, it was truly breath-taking.

The gown was completely sheer, floor-length and decorated with floral embellishments, with a huuuuge slit up the side, right up to Dua's thigh. Due to it being white in colour, it had something of a bridal vibe about it, but Dua styled it to make her look like a Grecian goddess: her long tresses flowing with just subtle makeup and huge matching floral white earrings. Finishing off the outfit were a pair of strappy high heel stilettos and a teensy tiny structured Jacquemus handbag. Chic!
