Tom Selleck and fellow Blue Bloods cast members are on enjoying their final run on the police drama. In 2024, season 14 will air, ending of the series for good. Blue Bloods first debuted in 2010, and it's safe to say the actors on the show have formed a close bond, particularly with Reagan family patriarch Tom Selleck. On January 29, the Hollywood icon celebrated his 79th birthday, and his fellow cast members made sure to make his last birthday on set one to remember.

Donnie Wahlberg, who portrays Selleck's on-air son Danny Reagan, took to Instagram to commemorate the special occasion with photos of the pair together over the years. "Happy Birthday to my dear friend and TV dad – the one and the only – Tom Selleck! Love you, dad! 🎂🎉🎈💙❤️," Wahlberg captioned his photo post on Instagram, tagging the location as Brooklyn, NY.

Selleck's other TV-child also recognized the occasion on Instagram. "To the best TV Dad there is…Happy Birthday, Tom!," Bridget Moynahan (Erin Reagan) captioned her photo of the two together. Fans jumped in on both posts to wish Commissioner Reagan a happy birthday. "Happy Birthday to my first crush Tom! Those Magnum PI days! 😮💨," "Happy Birthday Mr. Mustache! ❤️🎂🍾🥂" and "Happy birthday to Tom!!!! One of the best to ever do it. A true legend and a real sweetheart of a man!!! 🎉🎈🎂," fans commented.

Of course, no birthday is complete without a slice of birthday cake, and Tom Selleck's big day is no exception. Tom received an impressive Blue Bloods-themed cake for his last birthday on set, complete with an edible police hat and badge made out of chocolate and a silhouette of the New York City skyline! Abigail Hawk shared a photo of Tom and several cast members posing with the cake masterpiece.

We can't believe Blue Bloods is coming to an end, and can't help but wonder whether Selleck will take this as an opportunity to finally retire from the acting biz after nearly 60 years on-screen. Happy belated birthday to Tom Selleck!
