See Chilling First Trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire

That's right, they're back. Sony has dropped the first teaser trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the follow-up to 2021's Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

From writers Gil Kenan and Jason Reitman, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire follows the Spengler family who return to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who've developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

Paul Rudd returns as Grooberson, with McKenna Grace as Phoebe, Carrie Coon as Callie, Finn Wolfhard as Trevor, Celeste O'Connor as Lucky and Logan Kim as Podcast.

There's no release date yet, but it says that it will be coming soon, exclusively to theaters.
