Prom season is upon us, and as you start making final decisions on what you're going to wear, you may find yourself shopping in an unusual place: the snack aisle. OK, you won't literally browse the grocery store for a prom dress, but your favorite brand of snacks is coming out with formalwear. Cheetos just launched a collaboration with Betabrand that expands on their previous clothing and jewelry offerings with dressier options.
The Snack Stasher dress features an allover floral pattern and a sash that can make snacking a part of your special night. The eye-catching bow boasts a hidden compartment, tailor-made to store all your cheesy goodness. While the dress is technically designed for girls, petite promgoers can totally get away with wearing it (and if not, you can always repurpose the Cheetos-inspired sash on a totally different look).
The collection is currently in its Kickstarter phase, and the brand is conducting a vote to see which items are most popular. The items with the most votes will be produced, and anyone who voted for them will get 30% off.
The brand even found a way to help you avoid getting Cheetos dust all over your look. They designed a pair of elegant snacking gloves with a lace trim that perfectly matches the dress. Cheetos really thought of everything, so get out there and vote. Fingers crossed that the dress will make it in time for your festivities.
And by the way, if you prefer suiting, they have a blazer, ascot, and suspenders with hidden Cheetos compartments, too.
