Along with honoring great TV from the past year, the 75th Emmy Awards celebrated some of the best shows of all time through cast reunions. But the iconic get-togethers didn’t simply happen on a generic award show stage (sorry, Suits and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia); They took place on recreations of the famous sets where their characters became so widely beloved.

Fans were placed right back into their favorite TV shows thanks to multiple stages, where sentimental sets transported viewers across the country and beyond. The Cheers cast—including Ted Danson, Kelsey Grammer, Rhea Perlman, and more—reunited at the sitcom’s Boston bar. The cast of Grey’s Anatomy returned to the OR together, while The Sopranos stars Michael Imperoli and Lorraine Bracco paid tribute to James Gandolfi in Tony Soprano’s therapist’s office. The casts of Martin and All in the Family reconvened in their respective living rooms. Naturally, the Ally McBeal cast joined in a musical number on a bathroom set. Former Saturday Night Live stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler also reunited on a Weekend Update set.

Other set recreations were built for single presenters including the Game of Thrones throne, which actor Peter Dinklage couldn’t even bear to look at as he walked onstage. A spooky home with a gated entrance acted as a nod to American Horror Story: Murder House, a backdrop on which actor Dylan McDermott gave a shoutout to the anthology series' creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.

Whether rooted in reality or a fictional world, the set recreations prove how crucial the atmospheres are to the construction of an epic TV show. Fans will never tire of the nostalgic environments featured in their favorite series.
