The first royal wedding of 2023 officially happened this weekend—and it was a glamorous affair. Jordan's Princess Iman wed Jameel Alexander Thermiotis at Beit Al-Urdon Palace in Amman, Jordan on Sunday, March 12. The wedding was attended by the entirety of the Jordanian royal family, including Princess Iman's parents, King Abdullah and Queen Rania.

"Iman, I pray this next chapter in your life brings you as much joy, love, and laughter as you have brought us over the years. Congratulations to the bride and groom!" the Jordanian Queen wrote on Instagram.

The bride and groom exchanged rings. Thermiotis is not royal; he was born in Caracas, Venezuela to a Greek family.

Princess Iman wore a long-sleeve lace Dior wedding gown, and a Chaumet tiara that reportedly belonged to her grandmother, Princess Muna Al-Hussein.

The couple posed for an official portrait with King Abdullah and Queen Rania. Princess Iman is their eldest daughter.

Princess Iman's brother, Crown Prince Hussein, walked her down the aisle.

Another view of the stunning bride. Hussein wrote on Instagram, "Grateful for all the precious memories we share and overjoyed to see you celebrate your wedding today… I wish you, dear Iman and Jameel, a lifetime of blessings and happiness together."

At the end, she was greeted by her father, King Abdullah.

Princess Iman's veil was embroidered with flowers.

She gave her mom, Queen Rania, a big hug. Rania also wore Dior for her daughter's big day.

The newlyweds looked so happy on their wedding day.

Princess Iman carried a small bouquet of white flowers.

Crown Prince Hussein is pictured with his fiancée Rajwa Al Saif, who wore a yellow Roksanda dress. They are set to wed in June 2023—more details here.

They seemed to have great weather for their outdoor ceremony.

In the front row sat Iman's siblings: Princess Salma, Prince Hashem, her future sister-in-law Rajwa, and Prince Hussein. Queen Rania sat at the end of the row.

The wedding took place at Beit Al-Urdon Palace, a private residence of the Jordanian royal family.

Jameel used a sword to cut the cake.

They walked through a flag salute.

"The Royal Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Iman and Mr. Thermiotis on this occasion and wishes them a lifetime of happiness," the palace said in a statement announcing their engagement last year.
