Young people from around the world gathered at Windsor today to deliver their conservation presentations to the Duke of Sussex.
Today, Prince Harry is meeting with primatologist and conservation icon Dr. Jane Goodall at the Roots & Shoots Global Leadership Meeting in Windsor. During this afternoon's event, the Duke of Sussex spent time with Goodall, delivered a speech to attendees, and listened to a number of presentations on issues ranging from climate change to pollution. He also spoke with youth representatives from Roots and Shoots about their conservation campaigns and plans.
Prince Harry has made environmentalism an important part of his life, and work as a royal, and his history with conservation was one of the reasons for his appearance at today's meeting. "We know that [Prince Harry] is keenly involved in youth and global environmental issues," a Jane Goodall Institute spokesperson to Good Morning America. "Dr. Goodall believes that his visit will inspire the participants knowing that someone of his stature is eager to learn of their efforts."
