The Golden Globes kicked off the 2024 awards season in style with glamorous gowns, dazzling bling, cool tuxedos and lots of red-hot looks
Jennifer Aniston, Barry Keoghan, Margot Robbie and more best dressed stars at the 2024 Golden Globes gave us a whole lot of glitz and even more glam. See them all shine on the red carpet ahead of the event, which kicked off awards season in style.
Taylor Swift
For the award show, nominee Taylor Swift embodied her highly anticipated rerelease, Reputation (Taylor’s Version) in a sparkly snake-green dress plus multiple pieces by De Beers and green leather Christian Louboutin pumps.
Jennifer Lopez
She was there with husband Ben Affleck, a presenter, but Jennifer Lopez nearly stole the show in this custom rosette covered Nicole + Felicia Couture gown and Maison Boucheron jewels.
Margot Robbie
Margot Robbie rocked a hot pink sequin Giorgio Armani Privé gown with a feather boa — her most Barbie-forward look yet. The custom design, inspired by the 1977 SuperStar Barbie's 50th anniversary, was literally made for a celebration. Of channeling the commemorative doll, the nominee told Variety, "I actually do feel it tonight." An added bonus: her over $3M of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Jennifer Aniston
Jennifer Aniston opted for her red carpet uniform — a classic black strapless gown (by Dolce & Gabbana) — and an even more familiar haircut, debuting a shorter style reminiscent of "the Rachel."
Emma Stone
Nominee Emma Stone hit the red carpet in a breathtaking Louis Vuitton gown featuring a deep V-neck and an embroidered sequin floral motif. She paired the design with pieces from the label's High Jewelry collection.
Julianne Moore
Red was the color of the night — and Julianne Moore put her classic spin on the bold color in a billowing custom Bottega Veneta ball gown. The nominee wore her hair in a sleek, low pontyail created by Olaplex Global Ambassador Halley Brisker.
Natalie Portman
Nominee Natalie Portman's embroidered Dior Haute Couture was something of a fairytale with its impressionist landscape of micro-flowers and vermicelli embroidered on tulle. She also wore DeBeers earrings and a ring by the brand.
Gillian Anderson
Just as the red carpet was starting, Gillian Anderson shut it down wearing a custom ivory strapless Gabriela Hearst dress featuring motifs of vaginas and peonies, plus dazzling Chopard jewels. "[I wore it] for so many reasons," the Sex Education star, 55, told Deadline on the carpet. "It's brand appropriate." Mic. Drop.
Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey paid tribute to The Color Purple in a custom embroidered Louis Vuitton with a draped neckline. (She also presented at the event.)
Timothée Chalamet
Nominee Timothée Chalamet got decked out in a Celine Homme by Hedi Slimane embroidered jacket over a black top and pants plus Chelsea boots. The nominee posed for pics solo on the red carpet but inside he sat next to — and shared a kiss with — Kylie Jenner.
Florence Pugh
Presenter Florence Pugh topped off her sheer custom Valentino dress with several Tiffany & Co. pieces, and a rock n roll-inspired updo created by Virtue Creative Director Adir Abergel.
Angela Bassett
Last year's best supporting actress winner, Angela Bassett, turned heads in an off-the-shoulder, figure-hugging black velvet Dolce & Gabbana gown. The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star's old Hollywood waves were tucked behind her right ear to reveal her red tassel earrigs.
Selena Gomez
Nominee Selena Gomez definitely had a blast on the red carpet, and who wouldn’t in this vibrant red Giorgio Armani dress with an asymmetrical hemline and black rosette-accented cutouts, patent leather Christian Louboutin pumps plus plenty of Bulgari diamonds.
Coleman Domingo
Nominee Coleman Domingo was dressed to impress in a Louis Vuitton. His look included a mandarin-collar tailored jacket with pearl buttons and two golden brooches plus an Omega watch.
Julia Garner
Presenter Julia Garner lit up the carpet in a Gucci silver sequin dress with a sexy plunging neckline, Santoni playform sandals plus her signature blonde curls.
Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer Lawrence chose a plunging Dior Haute Couture gown for the event. The nominee accessorized the midnight blue gown with a necklace and statement cuff earrings by Tiffany & Co. as well as a studded clutch.
Barry Keoghan
Nominee Barry Keoghan brought the drama in Louis Vuitton. The style star wore a red wool evening jacket and tailored trousers and accessorized with a gold chain belt, pearl necklace and earring by the label as well as an Omega watch. Patent leather boots by Christian Louboutin completed the look.
Heidi Klum
The supermodel struck a pose in a strapless Sophie Couture gown with a dazzling top and draped bottom — plus Lorraine Schwartz white diamond earrings and 10 carats of mixed white diamond Lorraine Schwartz rings — while on a date night with her husband Tom Kaultiz.
Lenny Kravitz
The nominee kept it rock star cool in his signature sunglasses, a cropped tuxedo jacket, wide-leg trousers and pointy Christian Louboutin shoes.
Amanda Seyfried
Amanda Seyfried had a matchy-matchy moment on the red carpet. The presenter and Lancôme ambassadress wore a strapless gown with a purple bow — and wore coordinating eye makeup!
Quinta Brunson
Nominee Quinta Brunson sparkled in a custom champagne-hued Balmain gown, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and matching Jimmy Choo sandals. Brunson and her stylist Jessica Paster showed off the look on Instagram, and noted that the design features 130,000 upcycled crystals.
Meryl Streep
With 33 nominations to her name over the years, it's only fitting that Meryl Streep shine bright on the red carpet. The star wore a black sequin jacket and skirt and Fred Leighton jewelry.
Elizabeth Olsen
Nominee Elizabeth Olsen chose a Vivienne Westwood Couture dress. She paired the ivory corset design with jewelry by Reza, as well as ravishing red lips and nails.
Da’Vine Joy Randolph
“I'm a fashion girl,” nominee Da’Vine Joy Randolph told PEOPLE in the weeks leading up to the event. “I love the details.” She didn’t disappoint in this custom ruby red Rodarte dress with a bedazzled bust and peplum hem.
Rachel Brosnahan
Nominee Rachel Broanahan was red-hot on the red carpet in a button-front dress and matching red satin Christian Louboutin sandals.
Issa Rae
Golden girl! The presenter wowed in a Pamella Roland gown after toasting to the night with some of her glam squad.
