April Ludgate and Leslie Knope reunited for one last skit.

Aubrey Plaza made her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live last night, and Parks and Recreation fans were in for a treat!

The Jan. 21st episode of the comedy sketch show was full of surprises, including a special appearance from the Plaza's former co-star, Amy Poehler.

Poehler shocked fans when she jumped into the "Weekend Update" segment hosted by Colin Jost, where Poehler, 51, and Plaza, 38, brought back their beloved characters–April Ludgate and Leslie Knope–from the NBC hit.

"When you work for the local government, doing the bare minimum is doing your part," Plaza joked as she fully transformed into her sarcastic sitcom character.

"But what if you actually want to work hard," Jost replied, to which Plaza said, "I don't know, you're annoying me, just ask my old boss, Leslie Knope."

The crowd could not hold back their cheers as Poehler entered the scene.

Poehler then derailed the conversation, as all she could think about was how exciting it was to be on SNL. “I used to watch this when Seth Meyers did it by himself with no one else and he made it look really easy,” Poehler–who actually co-hosted the segment alongside Meyers–said to Jost.

Near the end of the segment, Poehler switched places with Jost as she "tried to tell a joke." After reviewing the many options that SNL had prepared, the comedian deemed much of the humor "too mean," eventually settling for one she believed was well suited for her Parks & Rec character.

“A town in Alaska has launched a bus service for puppies," she said, delivering the punchline directly into the camera: "The service has expanded to puppies thanks to the heroic activism of canine civil rights icon, Rosa Barks."

Previously, Poehler told TODAY that she would be open to rebooting the beloved sitcom, and her former co-star, Rob Lowe even revealed he would reprise his role while speaking with Parade in Oct. 2022, "I will do the Parks and Rec thing as long as Amy directs it," he said.

Could last night's SNL sketch be hinting towards a reboot? We can only hope!
