See Adele's Reaction When She Forgets Her Own Lyrics During Concert
Apparently everyone sings the wrong song lyrics sometimes—even the songwriters themselves.
The latest musician to flub-up their own song lyrics is none other than powerhouse vocalist Adele, who proved this weekend that she actually isn't superhuman, contrary to popular belief.
The "Go Easy On Me" songstress messes up just like the rest of us sometimes, and those attending her performance in Las Vegas this past weekend got to witness it firsthand.
Adele, 35, was onstage at The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace on Saturday, June 17, as part of her "Weekends With Adele" residency in Sin City—but the performance didn't go completely as planned.
The hitmaker was singing her popular track "I Drink Wine" when she forgot the lyrics, prompting her to stop the performance and shout out, "I forgot the f--king lyrics!"
"This song. F---!" she could be heard saying in the now-viral footage shared to Twitter. "Bloody hell!—$50 dollars that cost me last night!"

She then turned to a fan in the audience, asking them to remind her of the lyric, and it eventually all came back to her as she continued on with the performance.
"Awww I’m sure she was nervous" one of Adele's fans suggested on Twitter, while another user called the performer "so down to earth."
"She could do stand up comedy" someone else added of Adele's quick wit.
"she's so cute..." another comment read.
"How magnificent is she?" someone else chimed in, calling Adele's recovery of the moment "seamless."
"Love her!" the same fan gushed. "I love that she can laugh at herself, as if we are all in on the joke."
