Earlier this month, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced its 2024 induction nominees, ramping up enthusiasm for the annual event.
"This remarkable list of Nominees reflects the diverse artists and music that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame honors and celebrates," John Sykes, Chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, said in a statement,
"Continuing in the true spirit of Rock & Roll, these artists have created their own sounds that have impacted generations and influenced countless others that have followed in their footsteps."
To be eligible, artists are required to have released their first record 25 years prior to induction.

What is the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a museum in Cleveland, Ohio which documents the history of rock & roll. It was established in 1983.
When will the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony take place?
The exact date has yet to be determined, but the ceremony is expected to take place in the fall of 2024.

Of the 15 artists, bands and groups nominated this year, 10 are nominated for the first time: Carey, Frampton, Cher, Foreigner, Kool & the Gang, Oasis, O'Connor, Kravitz, Osbourne and Sade.
Interestingly, Cher told Kelly Clarkson in December 2023 that, given how long she'd been snubbed by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, she wouldn't accept an invitation from them even if she finally got one.
"You know what, I wouldn't be in it now if they gave me a million dollars," she said during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson show. "I'm never going to change my mind."
"They can just go you-know-what themselves," she added. Should be an interesting year if she gets inducted!
When will the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees be announced?
Inductees will be announced by the end of April.
How to watch the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony
Assuming you don't score tickets to the event itself (details to come if you want to go that route), the ceremony will air live on Disney+ and will be available to stream on Hulu the next day.
