Advertiser Disclosure: At Slickdeals, we work hard to find the best deals. Some products in our articles are from partners who may provide us with compensation, but this doesn’t change our opinions.
Can you put a price on peace of mind? Package theft, unwanted visitors and other security risks definitely come with a monetary cost, but there’s no point in trying to define the value of feeling safe at home. Fortunately, it’s quite easy to put a price tag on potential solutions — it’s just a matter of finding the best deals on security cameras.
To make it even easier, we’ve prepared a list of the best security camera deals available right now. Here are some of our top picks of the month:
The Best Security Camera Deals Right Now
1. Defender Guard Wi-Fi Security Cameras, Two Pack
Sale Price: $155 | Reg. Price: $274
This two-camera security bundle from Defender may not be the cheapest security camera deal on this list. Still, the deal’s value is apparent when considering its high-end features and impressive list of included accessories. In addition to two cameras outfitted with ClearVu Ultra-HD 2K optics and advanced 128-bit SecureGuard encryption, the bundle includes a two-year warranty, mounting hardware, a power supply, ethernet cable shields and two extra 128GB MicroSD cards (on top of the cards pre-installed in the cameras).
In the original Deal Thread, FatFaluz mentioned that the Defender site does not specify whether or not this camera can be integrated into other systems or protocols, even other Defender NVR systems. It’s worth conducting some extra research or reaching out to the company if you want more information.
2. TECKIN Cam 1080P FHD Indoor Wi-Fi Smart Camera for Home Security
Sale Price: $17.59 | Reg. Price: $25.99
TECKIN’s smart camera is a serviceable deal if you have a tight budget or simply need an auxiliary camera to fill out your current setup. There aren’t many cutting-edge features at this price point, but this TECKIN camera is equipped with two-way audio, dynamic noise reduction, night vision up to 32 feet and a 110° wide-angle view.
This Amazon listing dipped down to $16 right before Christmas last year, but this is still one of the lowest prices we’ve seen. Don’t forget to add the 20% coupon in the product description before you check out!
3. Kami Wire-Free Outdoor Camera
Sale Price: $69.99 | Reg. Price: $94.99
Kami’s Wire-Free Outdoor Camera is picture-perfect, inside and out. Its wireless design and minimal footprint ensure that your security camera isn’t an eyesore bolted to your home, and you can expect consistent image quality thanks to the camera’s 1080p HD image and 140° wide-angle lens.
To make things even simpler, all of your data is stored within the Microsoft Azure-powered Kami Cloud. You will also receive a battery charger and four rechargeable batteries, each of which has approximately six months of life per charge.
4. Arlo Pro 3 Two Camera Indoor/Outdoor Wire-Free 2K HDR Security Camera System (White)
Sale Price: $249.99 | Reg. Price: $499.99
Thanks to this huge Best Buy deal, you can get an Arlo Pro 3 Two-Camera security system for $50 less than the previous lowest price. This bundle includes a SmartHub, two rechargeable batteries and mounting equipment, and it only takes three minutes to set up your new camera system. This is an especially good deal for two 2K cameras, especially since the system features a 160° field of view, vibrant color (even at night) and the ability to spot and announce people, cars, animals and package deliveries.
You need to have an Arlo Smart subscription to access some features, such as individualized tracking notifications. This security camera deal comes with three free months of Arlo Smart, so you have time to decide if it’s worth it.
5. wansview1080P Wireless WiFi Outdoor + Home Surveillance Waterproof Camera
Sale Price: $24.99 | Reg. Price: $39.99
Compared to other cameras at its price point, this 1080p wansview Outdoor Security Camera has surprisingly sophisticated settings for targeted motion detection and an RTSP link included with the app. This wansview camera deal is close to the lowest recorded price we’ve seen, but it was listed at $18.40 earlier this month. Still, you can knock $15 off the regular price by applying the coupon located in the item description.
Obviously, one should temper their expectations of a $24 security camera. Slickdealer surfing4dough efficiently highlighted what really matters: the color quality and image are good, the setup process is straightforward, the app is decent and it is compatible with TinyCam and other real-time streaming protocols.
6. Argus 2E Wire-Free Battery/Solar Powered IP Camera
Sale Price: $59.49 | Reg. Price: $84.99
Looking for an environmentally sustainable security camera option? This Reolink Argus 2E IP Camera kit comes bundled with a solar panel, along with mounting supplies for the entire setup. Reolink wasn’t kidding when it said that this camera was “gushing with features” — it’s wireless and solar-powered with a rechargeable battery option. It also features live view, real-time alerts and a smart PIR Motion Sensor.
Overall, the Slickdeals community seems quite pleased with this security camera deal. Some users expressed concern with the lack of information about night vision, so Howard12 said that their 2E has “OK” night vision, decent but not much detail.
7. ANNKE C800 PoE 4K Security Camera w/Audio, H.265+ 8MP Outdoor IP Bullet Camera
Sale Price: $79.99 | Reg. Price: $99.99
ANNKE’s C800 Bullet Security Camera dropped to a historic low of $70 back in April, so this isn’t the absolute lowest price. Even so, it doesn’t seem to go on sale that often and the price has even spiked over $100 a few times this year. Thanks to its PoE (Power over Ethernet) wired setup, you can halve your cable requirements and ensure crisp, clear image and 4K streaming quality. On top of that, this camera has an IP67 weatherproof rating and supports up to 256GB TF cards — a stable and secure option, through and through.
If you’re interested in using these cameras to set up an entire home system, Not_Johnnybravo provided a list of necessary components in the original deal thread. You will need either a microSD card, a cloud subscription, an NVR or a computer running NVR software — along with the correct cables and PoE components.
