Security camera catches wild airport runway chase
A 16-year-old fugitive from Houston was injured on Nov. 18 when he landed in Oklahoma City.
A security camera at Will Rogers Airport caught the whole chaotic scene as the teenager ran across the tarmac, climbed on top of a building and then jumped — all to avoid the police who were chasing after him.
According to a "Good Morning America" segment from Thursday morning, the teen has a felony warrant for second-degree burglary and was intended to be picked up at the airport by deputies. Knowing he was going to be arrested the moment the landed, police think, he slipped through a crack in the jet bridge to try to escape.
He has since been caught and no flights were impacted.
